The University of Manchester is offering doctoral studentships to support alumni or current masters degree students to undertake PhD studies commencing September 2011 in one of the eligible ‘Research Impact’ priority research themes. The studentship offers up to £48,000 per studentship.
The criteria include:
Applicants must be currently studying for a masters degree at or a recent graduate of The University of ManchesterOnly applicants who graduated from The University of Manchester within the last 4 years may apply for this awardResearch projects must be related to on the University’s priority research themes and in one of the areas covered by the research interests of Manchester business schoolApplicants also need to meet the entry requirements for admission to the PhD programme at Manchester Business School and have the support from the prospective supervisor(s) in Manchester Business School.
The selection is by school nomination process. Candidates wishing to be considered as a Manchester Business School nomination must submit a full PhD application by the closing date. In addition, they should send the hard copy of the ‘Research Impact’ application form with the prospective supervisor statement section completed, to:
